Old Fort Quarter Festival – Update

A new committee has been elected to deliver a family-focused, scaled-back festival on Sunday, 28th June 2026. 

This year’s event will feature favourites like The Big Dig, Golden Ravens, walking tours, and Medieval reenactors, plus new additions including a fire show, ghost tour, and pop-up storytelling.

The new committee want to thank the original organising committee for many years of dedication to the festival from its inception right through covid year up until 2025. They have left the committee with a strong foundation to work from, and we hope by taking this scaled back year in 2026, that we can support the festival to grow even bigger in 2027 and beyond.
